The CDN3 here also had that same modification. Everything was a combination of quick release pins, from the engine mounts to the spring mounts.

Myself and two others did the same thing with a Jeep, taking it apart at 2 in the morning and bringing it downstairs into the FGH armoury Jr ranks. We re-assembled it the next night. It was quite a surprise to the duty officer on the Sunday.

haha...Rob. That's almost too much of a shocker to even get in trouble over. Although since you guys had so much time on your hands (at 2am), Im sure they found other ways to put your very resourceful skills to use.

There was no trouble....the DCO, when the duty officer dragged him down (until he saw it the DCO was in disbelief) said it showed leadership. Unfortunately, I was no longer with the FGHJ at the time.

I was very tired the next morning, but I will have to tell you in person what happened that morning....it was not the kind of storey one tells on the internet. Needless to say, I ended up winning the golden hammer award for it.
