The Victorian CH ( Classic Historic) rego scheme began in the early 1980's and the scheme has evolved over the years. I'd say that Bill was first CH registered in the mid to late 1980's . The VMVC had for a short while, special permission to register LHD vehicles under the CH scheme, the other car clubs were naturally jealous and lots of behind the scenes negotiating and politics was going on. The VMVC had a club member , in effect a insider with connections in very high places ..no names no pack drill.
