Do you only have "Gauges, Temperature, Electric, NOS, WW2, Restoration for the use of, White" or do you have any "Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Green"?

Hi Tony,
only white , but it is only the bezel ,an easy paint with a model brush. I can see green paint under the white of the one I opened. These ones were packaged for field use for the M7 SNow tractor and therefore repainted white before packaging. Sean

As you can see in the pictures these gauges are very clean.

You have raised and interesting question, what type of sender unit did the Fords use on the later round gage CMPs. I can't find sender unit in the Fords parts book. Did they use the dual sender setup that was used on the Civiy trucks?
With the Chev it generally is the sender tube that goes bad. So I wonder if the electric round gage and sender could be adapted to the Chevy?

HI Phil,
I don't see why a guy couldn't change the gauge type fairly easily. YOu could probably use the same hole the sender tube goes in and just put an electric sending unit in, or in another plug hole in the water jacket. The its a matter of running a couple of wires. In fact that was what was done with these gauges. They are on an M7 snow tractor sure, but the M7 power plant is a Willys 4 cylinder engine. The Willys , in a jeep body, normally has a thermostat tube as your chevy does. Sean
