I won't say that it's not Cdn used, but that it is likely American origin. I also see the US type part number cast into the heavy knob.

I would try it over on the G503 site in the armour section and see if someone there doesn't recognize it. Just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it wasn't Cdn used.
