I wonder if it is post war but using wartime strap parts. The colour and the fact that the lamp is apparently original makes it look that way. Is the body dated at all?
If you still have it next week, please bring it. If somebody else wants to buy it, no problem. I have a cable and lamp assembly and am looking for a bracket and strap to go with it but would prefer one I know is correct.

No markings on the metal parts, I guess you could fill the three holes and drill the the pressing holes.
