...enough of the front hub can be seen, once enlarged, between the soldiers legs......still looks short and stocky to me.

Based on the front rim being 16 inches, I reckon he's a maximum of 5 foot, 4 inches. Probably less.
![]() Has anyone in the know figured out the unit markings yet? I suspect german army (based on the WH number plate), but the 'V' has me beat. Owen.

I was looking at a documentary recently on the subject of the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. That V was used in that particular font (On the back of the Umbau Wagen) when he was in charge of Bohemia and Moravia. I believe the V was to signify Nazi victory in these regions. I wonder if the German Vehicles assigned to that area perhaps all had that V? Happy to be corrected or hopefully... qualified.

In the ongoing TV photos of the War in Ukraine.....vehicles are often seenwith a large Z or V painted in WHITE.......... any significance or just common sense not to shot friendlies when both side are using the same equipment....?
