As an aside, the choke cable bracket on my Opel Olympia (which by 1936, was also a General Motors product) was formed from steel flat bar, bent at 90 degrees. Not as pretty as the cast bracket, but still doing it's job 82 years later! Function over form. ![]() Owen.
