Adding some amounts of certain grades of AVGAS is a good alternative. Some are fairly heavily leaded, and do not contain ethanol.

It is one thing to bugger up the fuel system of an anitique auto, it is quite another to bugger up the fuel system or engine of a light aircraft. The corn lobby has had to tread lightly with regard to piston aircraft.
