As we discussed on the weekend, that is a common place for the Cdn2s to crack, but the Cdn3 has a re-enforcement plate on the inside of the frame at that location. She must have been driven hard. The light recce militia tended to push them through some pretty tough going, whereas in other units it was usually the transport for an officer, so would not be abused nearly so much.
