Brian.

Isn’t there a chorehorse installation for one of the CMP’s where it is mounted on a step, or fender, in a protective metal shroud? Someone was looking for this installation info on MLU a couple of years back.

That was me David. I don’t believe these are the cables. The chorehorse on the Wire-3 I believe was hard wired in and didn’t use the clips. The wiring would have gone from the chorehorse to the charging panel.

Ron. That cutout on the side of the CPP-2 is to accommodate the AC cord, but I suspect it is that type of cutout arrangement the grommet on Brian’s cable is meant to fit.

Jordan. Sorry about that, Chief.

The more I look at that cable, the less chorehorse intended it becomes. I am starting to think Switchboards, Charging C5, or similar related items, mounted in a metal panel box. The clips would obviously connect to a storage battery and the lugs to terminals on the board. There would be a half moon cutout somewhere on the edge of the metal panel box near the terminals that the grommet would fit into to protect the cable when the panel box access cover was closed. Wireless vehicle, or Generator Trailer item perhaps?
