White 1064 (10t) were used on the Kufra convoys by the Sudan Defence Force during the North Africa campaign:

Elsewhere on the internet are other pictures of the trucks carrying the GLADIATORS and some carrying cargo they are definitely MACKS TED.

Did you manage to get your model done? I was also looking into this conversion based on the HobbyBoss 1/35 kit....that's how I found this thread

Also interesting to see the trailers they are pulling; I remember one of these for sale in France years ago.
