Hi Joe,

not much more on the WS10. Here is an Australian publication with a bit on it's introduction & use. It seems it wasn't used much for cross channel voice as cables had been laid by d-day +2. See pages 17 & 18

The setup near me (St. Margarets) was a WS26 VHF link, not a WS10.
