Looking at the photo of the hand brake bell crank the pin in the end of the arm is not parallel to the bell crank pivot. The arm has a twist in it.
Unless there is more to the set up than I can see I would simply put a stout podger bar through the clevis pin hole and twist until it aligns. Use a little heat if necessary. Take it out and do it in a vice if you are worried about fire or the amount of force required. Dave
