We have discussed this picture on the forum before....when I thought the truck on the right might be an 8cwt, but it wasn't.....just a 15CWT. But what about the van on the left? Could this be one of the early Ford Heavy Utilities???

The picture is taken in Port-en-Bessin. IWM A 24689

Default Dutch example

Here’s one in post war Holland, towing a huge horse box trailer! I wonder how long it lasted before it got in trouble.

There is an F8 HU in the photo below too. Alex noted it is a different one than the one in the above photo.

The original was captioned “Naval ratings in the advance port clearance party crossing a Bailey bridge over the Tiber on their way to Civitavecchia.” Source: https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/i...ject/205156086

This photo was used in a Dodge advertisement.

Default “breathing oxygen”

Another photo to add to the file. It is used to carry cylinders with “breathing oxygen” - note the writing on the side. Interesting to see it being used in a technical support role rather than a personnel carrier.
