The linkage you need is quite common and should be readily available. Try some of the parts sources in Canada or online. One example with the bell-crank bracket found here:

I think the linkage in the link above is the one that goes down past the manifold.

The linkage section that goes over the valve cover is what I understand you to be looking for. Found here:
