| Ford 6 seater utility

Good day, I got the RAAF Derrick Chev shown above home this week, and I am happy with it. I might poke an engine in it one day. I have a 235 spare, unfortunately it has the engine mounts on the side not on the front like the 216. Lucky I am not in any hurry. I also purchased the C15 and the F15 that was in the paddock with the Derrick. The F15 is interesting. I thought it was a bitzer, it is the opposite sort of, the ARN on the front is 53899 which is a Ford 6 seater utility and I assumed that the front had been put on to the F15. I bought 2 Ford transmissions from the same place, and 1 of the boxes has the correct chassis number 3G24582 for ARN 53899. So I have the remains of a hard worked and 6 seater utility. The rear part of the cab is not bolted on and is fitted upside down. There are other tell tale sign on the back and sides of the floor pan to indicate it was a 6 seater. Funny thing is both trucks have had about 30 inches added to the middle of the chassis. The 6 seater has a tac sign with a Boomerang at the bottom but I can't make out the top part clearly, it could be a crocodile, maybe. Ken
