Ed, kind of a hard call where the needle rests between
Preservation or Restoration for a vehicle owner. While taking the post war paint down to the original may be a huge undertaking (with no guarantee of success) I would HOPE the owner of this car at least preserves the markings on the jeep and paint around them.
