Just looking in my parts book and it shows #1100502 fitting from 1929 to 1939. It doesn’t show any other type of generator for those years. It does show a 25 amp generator listed as special equipment, but not until 1948. The 25 amp is part#1102726 and listed for low speed door to door delivery type.

Hello Paul,
Thank you very much for the information... If I am to stay 100% correct, I should have a 948-R single post unit, if not and I choose a 9-U dual post model (1940-1946) unit with additional regulator is there really a benefit? I can't find anything on the 934-F and imagine that the 1102726 would be nearly impossible to find and despite being 25 Amp, I wonder what the limitations or benefits are... Low speed door to door delivery would signify a faster charging rate than a regular generator I would imagine.. |

For the type of usage I would use whatever was easy to source. Unless you were adding a lot of extra electrical equipment you should be fine. The later two post generator and regulator would be easier on the battery due to the more controlled rate of charge and would be slightly higher amperage than the original system with just the cut out relay.

Hello Paul,
It perfectly makes sense... At this point it will be whatever is available and affordable, thank you for your input... |
