I'd give my eye teeth (or left testicle) to be there to watch you buggers trying to out-do each other at this event! You just HAD to be on the other side of the world, didn't you??!!

What I CAN do is ship one of you a Red Ensign to represent Canada and MLU. Who's it to be?

I reckon the honour of the Ensign should go to Max. It'll look terrific on Carrier 3051. Please send a waterproof version so we can test those qualities when we swim the vehicle.

Oh, and you can mail your left nut to Mark.

Mark,

Here is a carrier in the water at Corowa. He went across the lagoon and up the bank, it would be more fun to go out in to deeper water though

Mark: Bugger! Keith, do you think Max would get upset if we told him we've sunk his Carrier and need help getting it out of the river?
Keith: Dunno, Mark! You go ask him while I start swimming for the Victorian riverbank!
Salesman Bob: Well according to this measuring stick, you're both in Deep S***!

Default Needs Hungry Boards

I am hopeing to cut a little ply and with some silastic and seff drillers add a foot or two to Max's carrier. This should allow the driver and camerman a little time for one of the GPA to pull up and retrieve the vital camera and operator to dry land.

Max we can try this mod after the Yass show on Sunday I will bring the gear around se ya then.

So does anyone have some interesting pictures or footage to help make this work?

As for the caps 'n stuff - that might be a good idea - I'll have to see what Salesman Bob has to say about it!

Hi Keith..
Hopefully we can get your new offerings in DVD format..VHS has gone by the way side here in Canada..Blockbuster(Video rental store) has basicly stopped with the VHS rentals..no market..Even the thugs that break and enter and steal stuff won't steal VHS machines...Put me down for a copy..
Is there any more progress on CMP video.Mark ll..??

Default DVD

Hi Alex

You'll be pleased to hear we will be producing the Year of the Carrier in NTSC DVD as well as PAL so you won't be forgotten.

As for YOTB Mk2, a lot shot, nothing produced yet, but it's become a long-term project.

Mark it's not the carrier I'm worried about it's me left shoulder, if it springs a leak I might rust up. To be safe you drive the carrier and I will follow you in your green toyota.

How about driving someone else's Studebaker in first, Mark? You can put your green Tojododge on the back. Then, if it's deep enough so both disappear we can try the Carrier...

Default I'm buggered

just removed one of the rear wheels, can't seem to knock the axel out to replace the bearings. So when you come to the show Mark, you may well be working on the carrier.
