You may be right. School boy error!
There are very few decent photos of this area to work with.
Still wondering how the lower horizontal link arm is fitted? I presume it would be rigid/fixed at the spring end? Bolted onto a bracket or the spring retainer plate? It doesn't look attached to bracket on the axle as on CMP axles.
Also what shape would the arm on the shock absorber be, straight or curved?
