Yes, the Ford and Chev curtains are different where the canvas attaches to the windscreen frame.

Ford uses Lift the Dot type and Chev uses Turn Button type. See attached examples from a Peter Jackson Catalogue.

Have included one of the four drawings of the Ford frame I drew up.

Hi Mariano,

Interesting. Just proves how many users of the CMP's had local variations.
From what I have seen in Australia the Ford had lift the dot and Chev had turn post button type. The post war manufactured screens all were turn post from what I have seen and therefore only fitted Chev.

I noticed on your screens the width of the metal pieces seemed wider than the ones I photographed in Australia. Just another local or later variation perhaps?
