Those are some very interesting titles.

Without having opened each one, I see a slice of scholarship where an interested researcher and a supportive thesis advisor let nature run its course. The Canadian chemical weapons story is one of those periods which tend to be uncomfortable and whitewashed out of sight. Like Canada's detention camps and declarations of undesirable elements in society, the notion of Total War being something done 'over there' is easier to explain (or not).
