See the thread Ford model designation:
  • C21AF is a Canadian-built 1942 4x2 car chassis with 118" wheelbase and right-hand drive
  • C49WC is the Windsor Carrier
  • C29QF? I know C291QF is early FGT
  • C21D is a 122"-w.b. 3/4 Ton truck
It looks like these tags were attached to parts in packing crates to identify them before assembly?
