I was looking at the "Dunlop Trak Grip Blackwall 900x16" , which looks pretty close to the wartime Michelin tread also seen on British vehicles. (Egbert has 2 on his Dodge)

As I read it, the document advises to avoid using tyres which are long out of production, including those Michelins.

The second picture you posted was a similar tread apparently sold by Vrakking in The Netherlands, but seems to be no longer available from them. Would be interested to learn if they were made recently.
