M1919 Brownings on For Lynx
It seems that it started with a field modification by the Manitoba Dragoons and was subject to a study for usefulness by the military later on.
I do not have the AFV Report No. 7, so don’t know what the official outcome was.

Interesting set of photos.
What is the pipe brace fitted into the sand channel bracket for? With that there they would not be able to use the sand channel brackets as originally intended. Aquino ready
Guys,
The Lynx started up after it's winter hiatus with the minimum of grumbling. Took her for a spin and she performed better than I did. Lynx of a different colour
Guys,
At the recent airshow at CFB Borden I had the opportunity to go for a spin in a M113 C&R "Lynx" thanks to Frank Von Rosenstiel. This version of the Lynx served with the Canadian Forces from the late 60s to the early 90s. The wife was less than enthusiastic when she heard that I was considering trading Lynxes if they threw in an extra set of tracks. Frank, thanks again, it was a blast. Peter IMG_3290.JPG
