Welll....
There were at least Ford 4x2 3ton CMP and the quote in the memo is "devlopment of a Dodge 3-ton 4x2 chassis is being investigated". I agree that with Dodge not making any other CMP chassis it seems unlikely that they would make this one variant, but I can't say that it wasn't investigated and rejected as an idea. Another possibility is a typo - CMP instead of MCP. All this keeping in mind that it was a briefing prepared for December 12, 1942.
