I think there was also a PTO driven, belt fed radio generator setup for the wartime MB/GPW. It mounted on the floor between the front seats with a protective cover over the generator. I saw a Canadian Contract MB here in Winnipeg back in the 70’s with one installed. Princess Auto also used to sell the war surplus NOS kits for a while. Maybe this setup was used with MBs/GPWs in Australia as well.
