Hi Rob,

Very nice find.
I have a request : in the wonderfull world of modelling there was/is a debate about the tyre dimensions for a 6 Pdr. With your pristine tyres I hope you can help us. So, we just need 3 dimensions : external diameter, internal diameter and width.

Cheers,
Patrice.

If Rob can't provide the measurements for a tire fitted to a rim (6.0 wide) and inflated to 25psi, the Section Width is 8.5" (216mm) inflated, and while the inside measurement of it is of course 10" for an 8.25-10 tire, the size of the rim OD is 12.5" (318mm).

I will leave Rob to give the Height and Tread Width of a pristine tire, as mine has probably lost some tread depth.

The tires I have are presently deflated. The total height of the tire is 27.5 inches (just under 70 cm).

I missed measuring the tread width. I'll add that tomorrow.

Hi Tony and Rob,

Thanks for the prompt reply...and sorry for my late answer (my computer was down for several days).

@ Rob : curious to see if the width differs from Tony used tyre to your NOS tyre.

Cheers,
Patrice.

I'll check today, but my tires are deflated, so the sidewalls will not be as wide. I could give you the tread width...but sidewall width will not be correct.

Hi Rob, you mention you have to do some further deactivation work to your gun, I’m looking for details of the bracket that attaches the elevation gearbox to the recuperator housing, can you help ? Bracket marked with red arrow.

Kevin.
