Is your carrier an early model with the brackets on the front plate for stowage? If not, then just the regular adjusting cam and bar might be the better choice for you. Repros are (or were) available from John Bizal at midwest military.


I have made the shepherds crook before. You just need a suitable length of 1" square bar and lots of heat. I simply matched mine to the previously mentioned stowage brackets.
