...found it in my later published April 44 C60 book

The funny dizzy was on a 1942 C15a........ it explains the funny rotational switch on the stomp starter that allowed the polarity to be changed each time the truck was started.....said innovation only lasted 40-42 on civilian vehicles.

A bell housing from a civilian Chev 3 speed ( late 40s) has now been found that fits the 216/235 and will take a SM420 dirtectly bolting on....... it is a left hand clutch bell housing but will be modified by cutting a fork window on the right hand side and relocating the fulcrum bolt to an existing reinforced bulged in the RH side
( to be drilled and taped at 7/16)....obviously the bell housing was also meant for export....will be guided by Phil W. instructions who as done the mods in the past.

Cheers
