2 Pounder Buffer Screw
Thanks Tankbarrel, yes - Case, Spring, FL 43 A.
I was lead astray by a local 25 Pdr Gent. I find that a 16mm csk head, leaves the screw head proud of the locating hole. What does the screw look like when in correct situ ?

Flush as hoped, simple, thanks for that.
I'm finding restoring this GMH South Australian piece very entertaining, from finding and buying a full set of BSF taps & dies, to decoding the mysteries of taper pins. The machining and castings are amazing. I have more questions relating to other missing parts, ..... back soon.

Tankbarrel Congratulations, the set up looks amazing, and I'm aiming for the 'same' colour as yours ( not green ), could you show the original condition of the 2 Pdr before restoration ? ......... then I'll show you mine
