Default 1941 Chevrolet ute

I had a look at this rare Aust. military 1941 Chev 'masonite' ute many years ago when it was in a shed at Yarra Junction.

The vehicle is now being worked on by a friend.

These Aust. car based soft top utes have some similarity to the German Umbau vehicles that were featured in a Wheels & Tracks magazine.
