Default Easy way... I think

Well, I got a piece of railway track (3' long) and leaned the track section (about 20 links) up against it with the welded side up.
Then with a 7" coarse sanding disk on a grinder, took the tops off of the welds.

You can see it turning blue when you get to the pin and washer.
Then lay the whole section on its side and knock off the donuts with a chisel.
In the piece of railway track are some joining holes, now turn the track section grinded side up (now with just the quarter of an inch pin sticking out) line up the first pin with the hole in the railway track and tap it flush, then tap with a half lenth of carrier pin, then with a full length pin.
It works great! And my entire garage floor is covered with pins and links!
