Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply. The sheet metal plate you describe makes sense. That said, I'll have to take another look at the Operator's Manual - I'm sure I saw a removeable plywood panel in the diagram. When I looked at our seat frame, I didn't see signs of a metal panel ever being there, but will check again.
