Ford GP Jeeps for sale at a U.S. used car yard . The year was uncertain, but it could have been as early as 1945.
I did a search in the Library of Congress. Wilensky Auto Parts Co. purchased 28 surplus trucks at $15,096 from the U.S. govt in May 1945, Wilensky AP Co. was located in Minneapolis.

Reported in July 1945: in the Detroit automotive newspaper - Willys has began production of the CJ civilian jeep, the projected price was $1250. A August 1945 report has the base listed price at $1090. The new CJ2 cost considerably more in Canada , a tariff on imported trucks was imposed .

Reading about the post-war Canadian tariff on U.S. manufactured Jeeps was interesting given the current news about President Trump's threats of a 25% tariff on all Canadian and Mexican imports.
