I have plenty of Ford V8 ones, even NOS , so not much help to you, cheers Andrew.

I attempted a google search for "Delco 1887047" and it came up with numerous results including: https://www.ebay.com/itm/273813924875

You may not need to purchase a complete generator but your deadline of 1 May is certainly a factor.

Thanks for the links, Colin. There is a healthy supply of GMC CCKW parts still in Europe, so it was quite easy to find a generator here. According to the info I have the pulley should swap over, otherwise I will run it with one V-belt for the time being. I'll post an update later.

As good as new GMC 6V generator rebuilt in France after WW2 fitted with the double pulley off the C15TA's generator:
