Carrier gun mount
Hi my carrier has this gun mount on the engine cover and I was told by previous owner it is a anti aircraft gun mount. Is it an anti aircraft mount? What sort of gun would mount? The nut at the front can be loosened and the inner raised. Has anyone got any photos they could share. It is a New Zealand built LP2 Carrier.

Your carrier looks to have had the post war upgrade to an MMG carrier. This mount would have taken the Vickers MG.
