The twin of 234 was DD 235. Appears that 235 had a different type of wireless set fitted.

234 followed by two 1936 Ford roadster utilities

In the 126 ledgers, 231 was listed as being a Ford Marmon-H ? And, 230 was a Bedford 3 Ton water tanker ?

Default Gun tractor

Thanks Konstantin

This newspaper article has some details of the Fordson tractor.

Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), Tuesday 6 October 1936, page 7

In the case of the Bedford, the gun was carried on a trailered dolly .

Did the Aust Army also trial a Scammell as reported in a newspaper ?

DD 241 was a Cletrac ? tracked tractor.

Another Australian Army vehicle, QLD. Date would be later than 1924 ?

Library description:

Handwriting on back of photograph reads: Our trusty steed & Cpl Emery. Sigs Camp, Fort Lytton, 15-20 Oct 24. Vehicle is a Morris-Commercial, probably a special tandem-drive version for the Army, of 2-3 ton capacity. Chasses is ex-British, body probably Australian. Condition of tyres and vehicle generally suggest manufacture 1923 or early 1924
