This could be the 41 military Ford ute that was owned by Bill D in Queensland. Bill got it running many years ago. At least it has a RAAF number which is in line with the services that used these 41 Ford utes.. mostly, the RAAF and the US Army.

I also wrote about the RLL scheme and the variety of non-US sourced vehicles supplied to the US forces in Australia. The range of distinctive registrations used with them is particularly interesting. Australian manufactured MG carriers were also supplied but under a different system to the supply of wheeled vehicles.
