Would be great to find back the location!

I’ve tried searching all over with google street view/overhead. Found a few spots that partial match but nothing conclusive as to the location the pictures were taken.

Canadian army newsreel no51 has film footage of the army postal office. Those pictures were taken the day before the C15TA was.

I’m positive I’ve seen film footage of the C15TA rolling up and the soldiers running out for the camera. But I couldn’t find it".
The Canadian Army Newsreel No 51 can be viewed on Youtube here: https://youtu.be/zl73W5rQ-6Q?t=189&si=gc3birJVR1lN7bGC

The first few seconds seem to depict the same location as in the photos taken by Lieut. Gloster at the 2 Cdn Corps Army Post Office in Oss.

I have asked a (somewhat) local battle field guide for help. If more info turns up, I wil post it here.

Default Royal Navy 30 Assault Unit

Jeep + 10-cwt mortar trailer and a GM C15TA standing in front of a butcher's shop somewhere in Germany, 1945? These vehicles were in use with the British 30 Assault Unit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._30_Commando).

Fyll shared some stills from British Pathe footage many years ago. IIRC this footage was made in Hamburg at the closing stages of WW2, showing a 30 Assault Unit action.
But the details are currently lost as I cannot find it on the British Pathe site nor on the Missing Lynx forum.

Note the registration number "48154 RN", denoting this was Royal Navy vehicle.

A while ago there was quite a bit of discussion on these over at Missing Lynx, http://www.network54.com/Forum/47208/thread/1068736249/
