Default Vehicle Markings

Regarding the bw Sherman images, the Arm of Service sign and the Bridge Classification are post-war correct but the CAR is strange and the Formation Sign is questionable. Likewise the 8 Arm of Service marking and Bridge marking on the UC are also post-war correct but the CAR looks to be wartime. Both AFVs appear to have stencilling on the front glacis plates. It looks like additional fictitious markings have been applied these vehicles to give them some sort of quasi-SWW appearance. The images are great time capsules, too bad we don't have more details.
