Don't recall seeing this mentioned before. One of the regimental histories people have referenced on this thread (Mein) is available on line at http://www.nosracines.ca/e/toc.asp?id=3641 A fairly brief bit about the Abbaye on pp 116-117. Worth a look if you haven't tracked this title down yet.
