Sherman Firefly on D-Day

Hi guys,
Anybody can confirm if any Sherman Firefly were used by the Fort Garry Horse or The Sherbrooke Fusiliers regiment on D-Day and the following days after june 6th 1944 ?? I know that these two regiments have supported the men of the Regiment De La Chaudiere in some operation in Normandy, and i want to build a diorama showing one of these operations but i was not sure if i can mix a Firefly with some guys of the "Chauds"..
