![]() ![]() This is a dash bolted to a F60L cab in Northern Victoria found in 2004... and in July 2005 I discovered the next in line in Melbourne... ![]() They are both from the short wheelbase version of the Australian "Rover" light armoured car which was based on the 1941 cab 12 F60S chassis. More pics of the second vehicle.

This Demand seems to have covered Ford Model Number C018QF or C298QF for Australia and was a mixed order with Chevrolet C60S?
I do not know if this is correct but my database shows # 2G-7785F then Serial # 25847 Motor # 3G7862F & 25848 Motor # 3G7719F and then Serial:26984 Eng no: 3G6249F Model F60S S/M 2126 Date : 9.9.42 (Date of manufacture, assembly or delivery?) Note the disparate engine numbers, 1941 and 1942 Models, completely out of sequence from the serials. |

Hey Keefy... did you buy these two sequential vehicles, or at least steal the data plates? What a find!

One was just a dash, the other on a vehicle which is to be restored, so it's best of course to leave it with the vehicle! You know the saying - "take only pictures, leave only footprints". It would be nice to have them though. ![]()

Hi Keefy
Although this plate doesn't correlate to you sequential plates, I thought I'd throw this one in seeing as Rovers are fairly rare.. This is the ex. Col Anderson Rover that my mate has restored and now here in SA. It's the one that had the brilliant instrument panel restoration done by ???. Bob |

Thanks, Bob
It's interesting to see these are all the F60S based versions. Now, as for that mystery dash zerstorer... some sort of phoenix-rex or something?
