The markings on this truck are interesting. The name "Te Taiwha" represents a vehicle from "T" troop, which like "R" and "W" troops was made up of New Zealanders who named their vehicles after Maori placenames stating with the troop letter. I don't think Te Taiwha is an original vehicle name though. The Kiwi was the symbol for T Patrol.
