Attack carrier question

Hi Cliff,
the overall length of the LP2 carrier, nose to the backplate is 3.5 M for the A/T carrier nose to backplate 3.7 M
The "extra" 200 mm of body, are between the front & second idler wheels.
The distance between the driver's /& engine baulkhead/ barrel clamp & the rear of the curved fighting platform 2.44 M /or 8'
The fighting platform (A/T) does over hang the backplate by 300 mm, at the top of the curve.
