Default Polish armor at Cassino

My father, who was 1st Division, when in his scuppers after a fine meal, always repeated his story of the crazy Poles. He always said that they were so keen to get at the Nazis that they would take their sherman tanks up steep inclines, and that they would "roll-over ass over tea kettle", down the incline of the abby's mountain. You hit a nerve and that's all I can tell you.My uncles in the RCHA also commented on watching the "rolling tanks"
