Thanks to all for the suggestions. Yes I also thought it looked like some food I have had in the past.
Luckily on further inspection the nest were long since hatched. There were also some kind of nesting all inside around the diaphram. Perhaps thats why it wasn't really honking when I first tried it. Its all painted up in Kahki Green #3 to match the rest of the carrier. I have also added new wiring.
