Your part is circa 1943. There were 1506 Foxes produced and obviously, many more spares. The Fox served in Italy and later NW Europe, and after the war who-knows-where in who-knows-wh's-armies. While it wasn't a consumate success as a military vehicle, it was unique, and there are few left today. As Peter mentioned, Bruce is restoring one, and I'm looking forward to seeing it on the road sometime soon.

This may be a stupid question but is there any way to tell the age of this item?
I did some quick research and it looks like the Fox was used in WWII and also postwar.
Any other information or help is much appreciated!
