Les,

Your 4x4 Dennis (?), is rather short in the wheelbase for a 3 tonner. Could it have been intended for the 30cwt class, along with the WOT8, or maybe a tipper? My guess is that Dennis, had been picked for other work and possibly were unable to produce quantities required. Just looked in the Census list and there are no 4x4 shown.
